India v England: Day Four in pictures

Published : Nov 12, 2016 20:14 IST

Ravichandran Ashwin scored his seventh Test fifty to steer India 49 runs short of England's first innings total.

Virat Kohli, who looked in fine nick, was distraught after getting out hit wicket. He became the second Indian skipper after Lala Amarnath to be dismissed in the same fashion.

Moeen Ali (left) and Adil Rashid shared six wickets between them in the first innings.

After his prime spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (right) failed to strike, Virat Kohli (left) turned to his seamers to curb the run flow.

Skipper Alastair Cook and debutant Haseeb Hameed put on an unbeaten century stand in the second innings.
