The Indian team has arrived in Chennai for its fifth Test against England at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. The team is put up at the Crown Plaza hotel, and is not scheduled for any practice session on Wednesday as was originally scheduled.

Chennai witnessed a worrying cyclone - Cyclone Vardah - which caused infrastructural damages in the city on Monday and caused four deaths, according to news reports. Despite this, >the Test is on track , with Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) secretary Kasi Viswanathan expressing his optimism in hosting the international contest, which begins on Friday.
