Jamshedpur FC's Michael Soosairaj in action against FC Goa on Thursday.

Hello and welcome Sportstar's live updates from the Indian Super League match between Jamshedpur FC and FC Goa.

Here's how the two teams will line up this evening:

Jamshedpur FC:  Subrata Paul (GK), Robin Gurung, Tiri (C), Pratik Chowdhary, Mario Arques, Memo, Sergio Cidoncha, Bikash Jairu, Pablo Morgado, Gourav Mukhi, Michael Soosairaj

FC Goa:  Mohammad Nawaz (GK), Seriton Fernandes, Chinglensana Singh, Mourtada Fall, Edu Bedia, Mandar Rao Dessai (C), Lenny Rodrigues, Ahmed Jahouh, Jackichand Singh, Hugo Boumous, Miguel Fernandez.

Jamshedpur FC’s search for its first win at home has been extended to the third outing as the side under Cesar Ferrando squandered winning positions to allow the opposition to equalise. After a winning start, the ‘Steelmen’ have seen four draws in succession, two of which have come at home.

Jamshedpur FC will see its task getting even more difficult when it comes out against the most proficient side of the tournament so far — FC Goa, at The Furnace (the name of its home stadium) here at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday.

Spanish striker Ferran Corominas, the most prolific scorer since the last season, will miss out for FC Goa after receiving a direct red card in the previous match against FC Pune City.

Corominas, who is the last season’s golden boot winner, remains the deadliest shrapnel in the Gaurs’ arsenal and the visitor’s head coach Sergio Lobera will now have to work out the right combination to keep his overtly offensive approach in place.

“It is always the team which rises above the individual. We have a team that creates a lot of opportunities and scores goals. We hope to continue with that,” Lobera said. The Gaurs have won the last three matches after starting with a draw against NorthEast United. With Edu Bedia doing well as an attacking midfielder, Lobera may opt for another Spaniard Miguel Palanca to shoulder more responsibility in Coro’s absence.

To secure a positive result, Ferrando said his boys will have to stop making mistakes in defence. The Spanish coach seemed agitated when his team conceded two late goals for a 2-2 draw against Kerala Blasters in the last home outing. “I am generally happy with my side but got angry as the team committed silly mistakes which stopped us from getting wins against ATK, NorthEast United FC and the Blasters,” Ferrando said.
