Gujarat Fortunegiants will be confident ahead of its first match in the Pro Kabaddi League against Dabang Delhi. And, in the other match on the day, home team Tamil Thalaivas will aim to get back to winning ways against Telugu Titans, after a disappointing defeat at the hands of UP Yoddha on Monday.

Dabang Delhi Vs Gujarat Fortunegiants

Over the past five seasons of Pro Kabaddi, Dabang Delhi's performance has been the most underwhelming. It has never reached the playoffs. On Tuesday, it faces a Manpreet Singh-coached Gujarat Fortunegiants side that reached the final in its debut season.

Losing star defenders in either corner Fazel Atrachali and Abozhar Mighani might have a been a big loss for the team, but Delhi will take note of Manpreet Singh's ability to take a team without any renowned names to the final. A side that is built in a strong defence, Fortunegiants retained its cover combination of Parvesh Bhainswal and Sunil Kumar. But, against a Delhi side with no dangerous raiders, the defence might not see its true test yet.

Delhi will rely on Ravinder Pahal and captain Joginder Narwal, who was injured for most of last season, to keep Gujarat's raiders in check, especially with a weak cover combination.

Tamil Thalaivas Vs Telugu Titans

It'll be a battle of kabaddi stars when Tamil Thalaivas meets Telugu Titans in a Zone B fixture. The league's all-time top scorer Rahul Chaudhari will go up against the all-time tackle points scorer Manjeet Chhillar. And, with Thalaivas captain Ajay Thakur, it promises to be an exciting show.

The Telugu Titans will be reliant on Chaudhari and his swift running hand touches to pick up points. With Vishal Bharadwaj, who finished with the third highest tackle points last season, captaining the side and Abozhar Mighani in the corner, the defence looks set. Chaudhari, who had a below par season five judging by his standards, will be eyeing a revival this season.

Tamil Thalaivas almost made a dramatic comeback against UP Yoddha on Monday and the team will look to carry that second-half momentum into Tuesday's game. Manjeet and Amit Hooda will keep an eye on Chaudhari. Athul M.S. might get to start on Tuesday after inspiring a comeback on Monday.

Thalaivas has a poor record against the Titans, losing all of its three matches last season.
