Telugu Titans crashed out of the playoff race in the Pro Kabaddi League season 6 with a heavy 35-20 loss in the Inter Zone wild card match against Puneri Paltan on Friday at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium, Kolkata.

The loss for Titans opened the door for Bengal Warriors and defending champion Patna Pirates, with only Bengaluru Bulls having qualified for the playoffs from Zone B.

It was a comprehensive victory for Pune, which outclassed the opponent in every department in its final game of the season. It was a match to forget for Telugu Titans' star raider Rahul Chaudhari, who picked up just one point from 12 attempted raids.

G.B More led the way for Pune as he exposed an error-prone Telugu Titans defence and helped his side get the first all-out to lead 10-2. Pune led 17-10 at half-time despite some decent raids by Farhad Milagardhan.

A Super Tackle by Abozar Mighani and Vishal Bharadwaj in the final five minutes of the match was the only bright moment for Telugu Titans. Pune defender Ravi Kumar got a High 5, while More picked up 8 raid points to cap off a 35-20 win for Pune.
