Is the margin already too much to cover for the Panthers?
22-15 Ajit Singh gets the bonus point easily. Pardeep looks to be too eager to go in for the raid but the half-time whistle blows. He would have to wait a little more for his Super-10.
21-14 Easy picking for Narwal again. Gets the left corner. Nine raid points for him now already in this match!
20-14 Manjeet raiding for the Pirates. The Pink Panthers pins him down to the mat even as Sandeep Dhull utilizes the raider's blind spot.

The first match would see Patna Pirates locking horns with the Panthers, in front of the home crowd. As the Pirates would look to start off its home leg on a high, Anup Kumar and his men would try and do everything in their power to stop it from happening.
