Raider Sukesh Hegde's brilliant showing backed by some solid defending guided Telugu Titans to an emphatic 40-22 victory over Bengaluru Bulls in the Pro Kabaddi at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium here on Sunday.
It was a big relief for Titans, which overcame two consecutive defeats to post its fifth win. Bulls' slump continued unabated as it suffered its seventh loss in a row.

Titans staged a remarkable comeback to build a comfortable eight-point lead over Bulls (18-10) in the first 20 minutes. Titans, which stayed behind at 4-6 and was reduced to two men in the initial 10 minutes, banked on two consecutive super tackles to gain some vital ground.
Meraj Sheykh and Rahul Chaudhari captured Bulls captain Sujeet Narwal and the Titan duo along with Rahul Chaudhari removed Rohit Baliyan to earn four crucial points.
Titans performed another super tackle to get rid of Deepak Dahiya to make it 10-7. With the clock ticking fast for the break, Sukesh Hegde and Meraj made some fine raids as Bulls was all out in the 19th minute.
Bulls tried to put up a fight through Surjeet's raids but the well-organised Titans kept itself away from danger.
Titans, which consistently inflated its lead in the second half, benefited from the attacks of Hegde, who collected seven 'touch' points and a bonus. Rahul Chaudhari, who had scored only five points in the last two matches, also showed signs of improvement and earned five points through his raids.
Manoj Kumar and Rahul Kumar stoutly led the Titans' defence to execute some fabulous tackles. Bulls, which was all out again in the second period, had no answer to the Titans' might.

Puneri Paltan relied on its superb tackles, performed by Surjeet on the right and Manjeet Chillar on the left, to > outwit Jaipur Pink Panthers 33-18 for its fourth win.
