Telugu Titans picked up four crucial points in the final five minutes to force a 26-26 tie with Bengaluru Bulls in a Zone B match of the Pro Kabaddi League here at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

Bulls did well in the first half with its raider Rohit Kumar bringing home most of the points with a series of successful raids. Bulls got the Titans all out once in the opening session and preserved that advantage to lead 15-12 at half time. Rahul Chaudhari, one of the best raiders of the country, was not at his best in the opening half but created a personal milestone of being the first raider to cross 600 raid points in PKL.

Showing better strategic sense, Rahul Chaudhari did well after the break as he focused on picking up more bonus points to keep the team in the hunt. Bengaluru Bulls ran up a 22-16 lead midway through the second half but failed to preserve it as Titans made a fine comeback owing to some good work by its tackler Vishal Bharadwaj in defence. Bharadwaj made three super tackles for Titans to help his team narrow the lead and eventually force the tie. Just as Bulls, leading 26-22, tried to kill time in the final five minutes Titans showed better application and picked up couple of raid and tackle points while conceding nothing to make it a memorable comeback in the end.
