Postponed matches to be played in Ranchi, Pune leg

The two matches between Bengaluru Bulls and U P Yoddha (Match 51) and U Mumba and Gujarat Fortunegiants (Match 52) will now be played during the Ranchi and Pune leg of the tournament respectively, a media release said today.

Organisers of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 5 have announced new dates for the matches that were postponed on August 29 following torrential rains in the city.

The two matches between Bengaluru Bulls and U P Yoddha (Match 51) and U Mumba and Gujarat Fortunegiants (Match 52) will now be played during the Ranchi and Pune leg of the tournament respectively, a media release said today.

The match between U Mumba and Gujarat Fortunegiants will now be held on September 20 at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Ranchi.

This match will be played at 8 PM (first match) followed by ‘match number 86’ between Patna Pirates v Tamil Thalaivas.

The match No 51, between Bengaluru Bulls and UP Yoddha, has been rescheduled to take place on October 17 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune, it said.

This match will be played at 8 PM (first match) followed by ‘match number 128’ between Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers, the release added.
