Phew, that some thrashing to bear! As a Kabaddi fan and especially as a Pirates fan, it must have been hard. But, that's why we love the sport. The team that handles the pressure better is bound to win. That's all we have for you today. Thank you for joining us. See you tomorrow at 7:30 at the same place. Toodles!

Where did this come from, Pune?! A side that has looked down and out from the onset of the season produces a result that not many are going to believe instantly. Downing Patna on home turf and in this fashion will dent Patna's confidence big time. Patna has now lost its first two games of the home leg and this is not what the fans expected. Coming to Pune's performance, a 14-0 lead was always going to be too much to cover for the the home side. Pankaj Mohite lit up the second half as he proved to be the surprise package on the night.

20-41: THAT'S THAT! WHAT A WAY TO GET YOUR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON, PUNE! THE PALTAN HAS DECIMATED PATNA TONIGHT AND IT TASTES EVEN SWEETER BECAUSE IT HAS DONE IT ON PATNA'S HOME TURF. MOREOVER, PUNE INFLICTS PATNA'S JOINT-WORST LOSS AT THE PATLIPUTRA INDOOR STADIUM. Coming to the raid, Pankaj Mohite, the surprise package, scored his 8th raid point off Monu.

PUNERI PALTAN WINS!

20-40: Monu was the only man remaining mat for Patna, but he manages to overpower Amit Kumar. He was looking to get a high 5

19-40: One more raid point for Pankaj.

19-39: Bonus and touch point by Ashish.

17-39: Do-or-die raid and Pankaj Mohit is sent in. He gets off the chest off Neeraj Chopra. gets two points. One man left on the mat for Patna.

17-37: 8 unsuccessful attempt by Pardeep Narwal. This is total domination by Pune. Girish takes care of the business and with this tackle, HE REGISTERS 500 TACKLES IN PKL. MILESTONE ACHIEVED.

16-36: Amit Kumar with the ankle hold on Purna Singh. You revived Pardeep Narwal, but didn't use him?. 4 out of 4 tackle points for raider Amit Kumar. He's been the key for Puneri Paltan tonight

16-35: Pankaj Mohite in for the do-or-die raid. Attempts the dupki , but he was touch late on it and landed right into the arms of Jaideep.

5 minutes to go.

16-34: Pardeep has now spent 23 minutes on the bench. 2 all-outs inflicted on Patna, one on Pune

16-33: Pardeep Narwal is sent back once again by Sanket Sawant. People expected a Surjeet vs Pardeep battle tonight, but they didn't see Sanket locking horns with Narwal and getting the better of him.

16-32: Do-or-die raid now. 1st up is Pune. Panjak Mohite takes all three men out and INFLICTS THE ALL-OUT ON PATNA PIRATES. THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST RAIDS OF THE SEASON. Super raid and all-out!

16-27: The two teams seem to be playing on the do-or-die raid sequence.  One empty raid after another.

Pardeep with 6 raid points so far, but he has spent the majority of his time off court. Manjeet of Pune is next in the list with 5 raid points. However, the man of the night so far has been Amit Kumar. A total of 8 points and he has relentlessly put in tackles!

16-27: Girish Ernak gets the tackle in for Pune as the teams takes the timeout.

16-26: Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Pankaj Mohite with a raid point, courtesy Jaideep's silly tackle.

Just a little over 10 minutes to go.

16-25: This is what we have been waiting for. SURJEET VS PARDEEP AND IT'S 1-0 TO SURJEET. DOUBLE THIGH HOLD ON THE DUPKI MASTER.

16-24: Now, Amit Kumar gets a bonus point. Look at the point distribution here. 11 raid points and 10 tackle points on the night so far. All round performance indeed.

16-23: Puneri Paltan gifting points. Manjeet throws in a silly tackle as Purna Singh gets a raid point.

15-23: Jaideep is anchoring the defence, how much ever he can.

14-23: The lead is back to 9. Manjeet handles the do-or-die raid pressure really well. Thrusts off Neeraj Kumar as he goes back with a raid point.

14-22: Pardeep tries the dupki   again, but the ankle hold of Manjeet was far too good in the end.

13-21: THE DUPKI KING SETS THE SECOND HALF ALIVE WITH A SUPER-RAID. HE FIRST GETS THE BONUS AND THEN GETS THE LEFT COVER AND RIGHT CORNER. HE SENDS SHUBHAM SHINDE AND SANKET SAWANT BACK BEFORE GOING BACK TO THE MIDLINE WITH A DUPKI

11-21: Jang Kun Lee gets the taste of his own medicine. Amit Kumar takes Kadian's revenge.

10-21: Do-or-die raid. 1 vs for Pawan Kadian and he gets tackled! The first point of this half goes to Patna. He wandered in too deep and just when he went for a flying kick, Jang Kun Lee came from the back with a reverse chest hold.

10-20: Korean Jang Kun Lee also backs with an empty raid. This was only his second raid of the night. He is yet to score a point.

10-20: Pawan Kadian starts off the second half with an empty raid.

LOTS OF WORK TO BE DONE BY Patna in the second half. Let's see how that unfolds. Puneri Paltan is only 20 minutes away from pulling off the biggest upset of the season so far.  They have kept Pardeep Narwal on the bench for 14 out of the 20 minutes in the first half. Astonishing!

THE FIRST HALF COMES TO AN END. THIS HALF HAS BELONGED TO PUNERI PALTAN. What a start they got off to. 14-0 at one stage, before Patna's small comeback saw the team reduce the advantage to 8. However, Pune didn't let the advantage slip away as both the attack and the defence, scored more points and kept the scoreboard ticking.

10-20: THE PALTAN ISN'T LETTING THIS SLIP AWAY. FIRST, Pawan kadian sends Hadi back and then Amit Kumar contains Monu.

10-18: PARDEEP NARWAL TIMED-OUT? HOW OFTEN DO YOU SEE THAT. THAT TOO, IN A DO-OR-DIE RAID! ASTONISHING! When you're struggling and trailing by 8 points, you can't afford to gift points.

10-17: do-or-die raid for Pune by Neeraj Kumar triumphs over Amit Kumar.

9-17: This time, Manjeet sends Pardeep Narwal back.

9-16: ALL-OUT BY PATNA PIRATES! THE DIFFERENCE IS JUST OF 7 POINTS NOW. PATNA TAKES OUT THE PALTAN ONE BY ONE. THIS TIME, JAIDEEP CONTAINS PAWAN KADIAN AS PATNA BEGINS ITS COMEBACK!

6-15: Pardeep Narwal forces an error off Pawan Kadian, who attempted a half-hearted ankle hold on him.

5-15: Pawan Kadian with a point.

5-14: Make that 5 in a row. Pardeep scores another raid point as Girish Ernak falls prey to his running hand touch.

4-14: Patna Pirates now looking the team the crowd has come to watch. Neeraj Kumar floors Manjeet as Patna scores two consecutive points.

3-14: Hello, there! Pardeep finally opens his account on the night. He sends Sanket Sawant back and levels their scores on the night at 1 each.

2-14: "First I raid, then I tackle,"says Monu. Back-to-back points for Monu. He gets a great thigh hold on Amit Kumar.

1-14: FINALLY, FINALLY PATNA GETS OFF THE MARK. MONU DOING THE JOB FOR PATNA PIRATES. THE THREE-TIME CHAMPIONS ARE OFF TO A HORRIBLE START, BUT SHOULD TAKE SOME CONFIDENCE OFF THIS RAID.

10 minutes up and Patna is still stuck on 0.

0-14: Another successful tackle by Pune. This time it's Girish Ernak with the tackle on Maghsoudlou. THIS IS THE BEST START BY ANY TEAM AGAINST PATNA PIRATES!

0-13: A two-point raid. Right corner and left cover wiped out in one raid by Amit Kumar.

What a start it has been by this young Pune side. They are doing it all with their defence.

0-11: Pardeep comes back on and walks back instantly. Manjeet pins him down this time.

0-10: THIS IS SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE! PUNE INFLICTS THE FIRST ALL-OUT ON PATNA. THIS IS JUST GLORIOUS!

0-7: 1 MAN LEFT FOR PATNA ON THE MAT. Amit Kumar floor Vikas Jaglan.

0-6: WHAT IS HAPPENING? 5 MINUTES IN AND PATNA HASN'T SCORED A SINGLE POINT. TWO MEN ON THE MAT LEFT FOR THEM.

0-5: Do-or-die raid for Patna as Mohammad Maghsoudlou walks in and he can't make a difference either. Surjeet Singh, the veteran defender comes to the fore.

0-4: Amit Kumar with a brilliant jump over Hadi Oshtorak in the right corner. It was a do-or-die raid and there was really no need for that tackle. PATNA YET TO GET OFF THE MARK.

0-3: Welcome back, Pune! What a way to arrive. This time, it sends Jang Kun Lee back with a great tackle.

0-2: Once again, Pardeep Narwal doesn't start well. He is sent back instantly. Sanket Sawant with an impeccable tackle. Manjeet gets a bonus point as well.

THAT'S ALL WE HAVE FOR THE FIRST MATCH. WE NOW SHIFT FOCUS TO THE SECOND GAME OF THE NIGHT WHERE PATNA PIRATES TAKE ON PUNERI PALTAN.

Rahul Chaudhari inches closer to the total raid points record. 13 raid points and 1 tackle point means he finishes with 14 point on the night. After the first half, Haryana had a lead of 10 points as Vikas Kandola was riding high. But, Rahul Chaudhari wasn't done. A stellar second half comeback ensured that his team beat Haryana Steelers 35-28.

35-28: THIS TIE FINALLY YIELDS A RESULT! THIS WAS A COMEBACK OF EPIC PROPORTIONS! WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE MATCH. SHOWMAN RAHUL CHAUDHARI first pulled off a great ankle and then gets his 13th raid point to draw curtains on the contest.

Dharmaraj Cheralathan Is The First Player In PKL History To Register 10 Super Tackles In Do-Or-Die Situations.

RAHUL CHAUDHARI HAS INSPIRED HIS SIDE INTO THE LEAD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE MATCH. 9 POINTS TO 1 POINT IN THE LAST 5 MINUTES FOR TAMIL AND HARYANA RESPECTIVELY.  11 points for Chaudhari already. How many more will he get?

TIME OUT TAKEN. 6:44 LEFT IN THE GAME!

24-24: SCORES ARE LEVEL AND CHAUDHARI GETS TO YET ANOTHER SUPER10. Gets a running hand touch on Kuldeep Singh.

23-24: Haryana Steelers only have three men on the mat as Naveen comes in to raid. Empty raid.

The momentum is with Tamil Thalaivas and it can certainly afford to ride on Ajay Thakur and Rahul Chaudhari's shoulders.

23-24: Do-or-die raid for Vikas and he can't deliver this time. JUST A ONE-POINT GAME NOW!

22-24: TWO RAID POINTS FOR RAHUL CHAUDHARI. He first gets Sunil and then Dharamraj. THE DEFICIT IS NOW BACK TO 2 POINTS. LESS THAN 10 MINUTES TO GO!

19-22: ALL-OUT! FIRST ONE FOR TAMIL THALAIVAS. Rahul Chaudhari sends Parveen out and IT'S JUST A THREE-POINT GAME NOW. This game is well and truly alive. Rahul turning on the heat.

15-21: You can't tackle a man of Rahul Chaudhari with a weak ankle hold. Vikas Kale misses the trick here as Rahul scores his seventh point of the night.

14-21: THAT'S JUST A GIFT! After a great raid, Naveen follows it up with an extremely poor tackle on Chaudhari.

13-21: Naveen uses the lobby to great effect as he gets a heavy touch on Mohit Chhillar.

7-18: Manjeet has look off colour today, but finally pulls off a great combination tackle with Shabeer Bappu to send Naveen packing.

6-17: Shabeer Bappu finally gets off the mark. Sunil put in a solo tackle at his peril and it didn't pay off.

4-10: Do-or-die raid for Haryana and Vikas Kandola delivers. He set the trap, lured Manjeet Chhillar in and that's how good he is. He creates the room by pushing Mohit Chhillar and then gets Manjeet.

1-3: Rahul Chaudhari and Tamil Thalaivas finally open their account. A great running hand touch on Parveen.

0-3: Naveen increases the advantage to three points by sending Ajeet of Tamil Thalaivas back to the bench with an easy touch point off him.
