That's all we have for you today! Thank you for joining us. I hope you enjoyed the game as much as we did. If the start was this good, you can only imagine how well the rest of the leg is bound to play out. Get some goodnight sleep and join us tomorrow once again at 7:30pm for another double header night. Till then, goodnight.

well...well...well... The Patna leg is off to an mind-blowing start. The first match saw the hosts go down to a strong defending team in the form of Jaipur Pink Panthers. The second game, however, was completely contrary to the first in the way it played out. We saw a raiding masterclass from both teams, but the night belonged to Pawan Sehrawat of the Bulls. 29 raid points overshadowed Maninder Singh and Prapanjan's efforts from Bengal. Pawan just fell short of breaking Pardeep Narwal's record of most points scored by a single player in a single game. But, his 29 points weren't too far off from Narwal's 34. Hopefully, we will see that record get broken soon.

OFF THE TOTAL 31 RAID POINTS SCORED BY BENGALURU, PAWAN SCORED 29 OF THOSE! THAT'S HOW GOOD HE WAS TONIGHT!

PAWAN CROSSES THE BAUK LINE AND THE GAME IS OVER!!! THE BULLS WIN!

BENGALURU RIDES ON PAWAN SEHRAWAT'S SHOULDER AND CRUISES TO VICTORY! NOT JUST THE COMMENTATORS, EVEN I HAVE RUN OUT OF ADJECTIVES.

43-42: Pawan killing time. He needs to cross the bauk line to make the raid legal, or else Bengal will get a point.

43-42: Bengaluru gift a point to Bengal.

43-41: Saurabh Nandal with his 6th tackle of the night. He has been complementing Pawan really well tonight!

42-41: BENGALURU BULLS IS NOW IN THE LEAD! PAWAN RACKS UP HIS 29TH POINT OF THE NIGHT AND PARDEEP NARWAL'S 34-POINT GAME RECORD IS BEING THREATENED!

LESS THAN 90 SECONDS TO GO!

41-41: Prapanjan that side and Pawan this side. He gets a running hand touch on Jeeva Kumar. What is happening here? We are back level again.

40-41: K Prapanjan slides in a toe touch.

3 minutes to go!

40-40: THE SCORES ARE LEVEL FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER 3-3. THEY HAVE BEEN CHASING THE GAME AND HAVE FINALLY CAUGHT UP. THE MISTAKES HAVE CREPT IN THE SECOND HALF FOR BENGAL.  WHAT A MIND-BLOWING GAME OF RAIDING WE HAVE SEEN.

39-40: Viraj Vishnu Langde with a futile attempt! There was no need, especially when you are up against Pawan. 27th point for him.

look at the difference here!

LAST 5 GAMES BETWEEN THE TWO SIDES HAVE BEEN WON BY BENGAL WARRIORS! CAN BENGALURU TURN IT AROUND TONIGHT? LESS THAN 4 MINUTES TO GO AND IT IS SURELY ON THE CARDS

38-40: ALL-OUT INFLICTED ON BENGAL WARRIORS! THE DEFICIT IS DOWN JUST TO TWO POINTS. 26 raid points for Pawan tonight. Prapanjan with a Super10.

34-38: Pawan gets his 25th as he sends Viraj back.

33-36: The lead is now down to just three points. 24th point for Sehrawat.

32-36: Now, Amit gets one back on Maninder.

Less than 7 minutes to go and with Pawan in red-hot form, this can go anywhere.

THIS IS NOW PAWAN'S HIGHEST SCORE IN A SINGLE GAME. PAWAN ''HIGH FLYING SEHRAWAT" is putting on a show tonight and it's very difficult to keep calm. You are witnessing an incredible performance tonight.

31-36: Is there something that can stop Pawan tonight? He now has 23 raid points. TAKE THIS! THAT'S THE SAME AS THE TOTAL RAID POINTS SCORED BY BENGAL WARRIORS

29-36: 23 RAID POINTS FOR BENGAL. But the Bulls defence is coming alive. Nabibakhsh is finally pinned down. Nandal has been at the centre of damage for the Bulls in the defence.

27-35: A MASSIVE 19TH POINT FOR PAWAN SEHRAWAT AND THIS IS THE MOST A SINGLE PLAYER HAS SCORED THIS SEASON. You are only forced to wonder, what will Bengaluru do without this man?

26-35: This time, Maninder Singh is tamed. Saurabh Nandal gets one back, with a heavy body blow on Singh. Pawan is back on the mat.

23- 34: ALL-OUT. MANINDER SCORES A 4-POINT RAID. OH, I have run out of superlatives to describe the raiding quality at show in this match.

23-30: SUPER10 TO BENGAL'S SKIPPER, MANINDER SINGH. This man is simply too clever for his opposition. Once again, Amit Sheoran falls prey to his brilliance.

23-28: Maninder, with an artistic raid. He waits, pounces and gets a running hand touch off Ashish Sangwan to bag his 9th point of the night.

23-27: ANOTHER TWO-POINT RAID! IS PAWAN EVEN HUMAN? THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! HE HAS SCORED 17 POINTS ALREADY. This has surely got to be one of the best one-man shows ever.

20-27: Maninder has now scored his 8 point of the night. He sends Mohit Sehrawat back to the bench.

20-26: The game is slowly slipping away from the Bulls. The captain has been off-colour all night long. Another unsuccessful raid.

20-25: The unsung hero for Bengal today has been Prapanjan. He not only takes Nandal out, but also takes a bonus. Rohit challenged the bonus, only to see the review to be deemed unsuccessful.

19-21: Ouch! A vicious kick on the face of Rinku Narwal by Sehrawat. He is making a statement that he is here for serious business.  That was almost Zlatan like, IYKWIM!

The first 17 minutes belonged to Bengal, but the last three belonged to Pawan Sehrawat. If you want to see how one man can make a difference, you're at the right place.

FIRST HALF:

Last 20 minutes hold a lot of promise.

WITH THIS THE FIRST HALF COMES TO A CLOSE. WE ARE IN FOR A GREAT FINISH, GUYS!

PAWAN NOW HAS 12 POINTS IN THE GAME AND HAS INJECTED LIFE INTO THE GAME AND LIT UP THE GAME.

BENGALURU INFLICTS THE FIRST ALL-OUT ON BENGAL AND REDUCE THE DEFICIT TO TWO. TWO MINUTES AGO, THIS LOOKED LIKE A ONE-SIDED CONTEST. HOWEVER, PAWAN HAD OTHER IDEAS. IN A MATTER OF TWO RAIDS, HE CLEANED UP THE OPPOSITION AND IN THE PROCESS, REGISTERED ANOTHER SUPER10.

18-21: WHAT A MOMENT! NOW THAT IS HOW YOU COMEBACK. ONCE AGAIN, IT'S PAWAN SEHRAWAT. HE IS SINGLE-HANDEDLY KEEPING HIS TEAM AFLOAT.

PAWAN SEHRAWAT REGISTERS 600 RAID POINTS IN PKL.

11-20: Bengal Warriors, yet again, get that 9-point lead back. Just when Bengaluru look like catching up, someone from the Warriors comes up with a moment of magic.

11-18: Pawan Sehrawat continues to carry the Bulls on his shoulder. As he racks up his 7th raid point, he sent the big man, Jeeva Kumar back.

9-18: THE PACE OF THIS GAME HAS BEEN SO FRANTIC! I'M ALSO PLAYING CATCH WITH THIS MATCH! Just when I am writing about one point, two more points take place. This is electric! What happened in the raid, you ask? Nothing much, just a certain Pawan Sehrawat getting an touch point. Simple!

8-17: Pawan Sehrawat gets a touch point off Viraj. This is big catch!

7-17: THE IRANIAN FLAVOUR IS UP ON DISPLAY, COURTESY NABIBAKHSH. This time, he takes out Saurabh Nandal.

6-16: This is lethal defending by the Warriros. Once again, the Bulls' skipper in on the bench. He did get the bonus, but he was thrown off with a dash by Viraj.

4-14: ALL-OUT. FIRST ONE OF THE NIGHT. BENGAL ALREADY SEEMS TO BE RUNNING WITH THE CONTEST. MANINDER SINGH WITH A DANGLING HAND TOUCH, TAKES OUT AMIT SHEORAN AND SAURABH NANDAL. The lead is now 10 points.

4-9: The Iranian, Nabibaksh, with a fierce running hand touch off Mahender Singh. The Bulls are down to two men.

4-8: Jeeva Kumar was simply rock solid. Pins down the Bengaluru skipper with sheer ease. Now, both Rohit and Pawan are on the bench.

4-6: SUPER TAKCLE. PAWAN TRIES A DEEP FLYING HAND TOUCH, BUT MAKES A SCHOOL BOY ERROR. HE COULDN'T CONTAIN HIS OWN MOMENTUM AS HE VENTURES OUT OF BOUNDS WITHOUT MAKING A TOUCH. SILLY, ESPECIALLY FOR SOMEONE AS GOOD AS PAWAN.

4-3: Now, Bengaluru takes the lead. Once again, it's that man Pawan.

3-3: Bengaluru draw level for the first time this season. It was a do-or-die raid for K. Prapanjan, the defence waited and waited till the raider ran out of patience. Saurabh Nandal then pulls off a great ankle hold before skipper Rohit Kumar comes around to floor him completely.

2-3: But Pawan is back and he makes raiding so easy and pleasing to the eye. He oozes finesse and class. A simple running hand touch off Viraj Langde as he bags his first point.

1-3: Bengal off to a powerful start. Maninder Singh ahs already picked up two points. In his first two raids, he sent Mahender Singh and Pawan Sehrawat back.

DON'T GO ANYWHERE, FOLKS! The second match is about to begin and it's a big one. Maninder Singh and co. taken on Pawan Sehrawat and co. This is one battle you should definitely watch out for.

SECOND HALF:

It is safe to say that the Jaipur defence was simply too good for the Patna offence. Pardeep, despite scoring 9 points, was tamed as Sandeep Dhull led from the front with the defending. Patna continued to make silly mistakes and their callous defending cost them dearly. A lot of work needs to be in the Patna camp and on the other hand, Jaipur will definitely savour this win for a long time.

THE NIGHT SO FAR BELONGS TO SANDEEP DHULL AND JAIPUR PINK PANTHERS. JAIPUR CONTINUES ON ITS MERRY WAY AS THEY THE TEAM CONTINUES ITS UNBEATEN STREAK.

JAIPUR PINK PANTHERS STILL REMAIN UNBEATEN. 4/4 AND THIS WAS A THRASHING! THE HOSTS ARE OFF TO THE WORST POSSIBLE START AS PARDEEP NARWAL AND CO. WALK BACK WITH HEADS HUNG IN DISAPPOINTMENT.

21-34: EMPTY RAID BY NILESH SALUNKE AND THAT'S THAT.

21-34: LESS THAN 10 SECONDS TO GO AND ONCE AGAIN, IT'S THAT MAN! DHULL HAS BEEN THE WALL TODAY!

21-33: This should be the final nail in the coffin! Sandeep Dhull clinches his 7th tackle point of the night and just when Patna could have inflicted an all-out on Jaipur, Pardeep Narwal gets floored! Jaipur hasn't simply let it slip.

21-30: HOW OFTEN DO YOU SEE A RAIDER BEING TIMED-OUT? It just happened to Deepak Niwas Hooda.

UNDER 3 MINUTES TO GO.

20-30: A bonus point attempt by Deepak Narwal in do-or-die raid, but Jaideep put in a solo ankle hold and literally pulled him back on his own. HOW STRONG WAS THAT?

19-30: Pardeep Narwal is one point from a Super10, but he won't get it this time. Tried his trademark evasive action, the dupki , but Jaipur was all over him.

19-29: The deficit is reduced to 10. This is far from over! Remember how many late comebacks we have already seen this season? Coming to the raid, Pardeep takes out Sunil.

17-29: This time, Pardeep Narwal lays the trap. He has spent more than 20 minutes on the bench so far, but he comes back with a bang. He takes out Amit Hooda and Vishal from left corner and right cover respectively.

16-29: JAIPUR INFLICTS THE SECOND ALL-OUT ON PATNA.

16-26: Just a little over 6 minutes to go, a 10-point lead for Jaipur as Dhull comes to the fore once again. This time, Monu falls prey to his vicious tackle and is floored comprehensively. Timeout taken.

16-25: Patna is down to three men on the mat. Do-or-die raid for Jaipur and yet again, it's the impatience of the Patna defence that hurts them. Jaideep tries to throw Deepak Narwal off, who clinches a touch point with an excellent dash.

14-23: It's going bad to worse for Patna. Deepak Narwal breaks through the shackles and completes a 2-point raid. Hadi and Vikas Jaglan tried a chain tackle, but a smart Narwal was able to fend it off.

SO FAR- JAIPUR HAS SCORED 11 TACKLE POINTS AND 7 RAID POINTS. JUST GOES TO SHOW THE KIND OF NIGHT THE TEAM IS HAVING. BRILLIANT STUFF

14-21: 7-point lead for the S01 champions, Jaipur Pink Panthers. Just when Patna looked like creeping back into the match, Pardeep Narwal is sent back with a SUPER TACKLE.

14-19: You have got to be kidding? Once again, it's the Patna defence that lets the hosts down.

14-18: An almost cute toe touch on Ajinkya by Narwal as Jaipur is reduced to two men on the court.

13-18: One vs four, Pardeep is coming into his own at the right time for the Pirates. Record breaker is TAKING THE PANGA NOW. SENDS SACHIN NARWAL BACK WITH A BEAUTIFUL DIVE TO THE MIDLINE.

12-18: Sandeep Dhull of Jaipur, who has been the best defender tonight, is sent back to the bench with a flying hand touch by Pardeep Narwal. In the previous raid, Deepak Narwal ahd sent two Patna men back, but Narwal was quick to repair half the damage.

11-16: Pardeep has been revived and he makes an impact instantly. Vishal put in a desperate double ankle hold, but Pardeep Narwal fought hard and back-tracked with ease to give his side a point.

10-16: Do-or-die raid for Jaipur as Deepak Hooda is sent. Hadi has been on fire tonight. Clearly the best defender for his side tonight. Throws the bait and Hooda took it with open arms, only to get floored by Hadi and Monu.

9-16: Jaipur begins the first half with a Sandeep Dhull tackle. Apt, right? They must revive Narwal soon, if they are to have any shot of making a comeback.

FIRST HALF:

9-15: Last raid of the first half and Deepak Hooda is happy to comeback empty handed. This brings an exciting first half of the first encounter of the Patna leg to a close. This is not the kind of start Patna was looking for. Its star raider, Pardeep Narwal has spent more than 10 minutes on the bench. Jaipur has scored more tackle and raid points in the first half, which has clearly been the difference between the two teams.

9-15: Important points, these for Patna. The flying dupki  star makes a wonderful dash and in the process, takes Sunil, but he is also sent back to the bench. 1 point each.

PKL MILESTONE: MONU REGISTERS 50 TACKLE POINTS IN PKL

8-14: Do-or-die raid for Ajinkya Pawar and what a contest this is turning out to be. Hadi sets a trap deep in the right corner and then the left side of the defence comes in to complete the tackle. Brilliant stuff

7:14- Do-or-die raid and you can always rely on Pardeep Narwal. Are we going to see a Patna comeback?

4-14: AMIT HOODA, YOU BEAUTY! An incredible ankle hold on Jang Kun Lee as Jaipur increases its lead to 10 points. Patna staring at another all-out. Only 3 men on the mat remain for them.

4-12: The Patna fans are in total disbelief. SANDEEP DHULL PICKS HIS THIRD RAID POINT AND HIS STRIKE RATE CONTINUES TO REMAIN 100. M. MAGHSOUDLOU couldn't pull off a revival.

4-11: Things continue to worsen for the Pirates. Pardeep Narwal, once again, gets floored while attempting a Dupki as Deepak Narwal pulled off a successful thigh hold.

4-10: ALL-OUT! THE WAY THIS GAME HAS STARTED, THIS WAS COMING. WHAT A HORRENDOUS START BY THE HOSTS. COMING TO THE RAID, HADI OSHTORAK CLICNHED A BONUS, BUT COULDN'T PREVENT AN ALL-OUT.

3-6: Do-or-die raid and the onus was on Mohammad Maghsoudlou to create a bit of magic, but Sandeep Dhull had other ideas. Jaipur set a great trap, lured Mohammad in too deep and the latter took the bait. The Patna crowd is absolutely quiet. They aren't able to believe what's unfolding between their eyes.

3-5: Do-or-die raid for Jaipur as Ajinkya Pawar steps in and he gets two points. A desperate dash to the midline and he sends Vikas jaglan and Neeraj Kumar back to the bench.

3-3: Jang Kun Lee tried to drive through the midline, but the Amit Hooda ankle hold was powerful enough to stop Kun Lee in his tracks.

PKL MILESTONE: SANDEEP DHULL REGISTERS 150 TACKLE POINTS IN PKL.

3-2: Jaideep on the left corner wraps around Ajinkya Pawar, who killed the raid with a good old bear hug and he brings back Pardeep Narwal.

2-2: Jaipur Pink Panthers are able to contain Pardeep this time. The dangling hand of Pardeep saw him wander too deep and he then tried to evade with his trademark Dupki , but Vishal of Jaipur was too good for him on this occasion.

1-0: Pardeep Narwal comes in next and gets the first point. Bonus point for him and the first points of the Patna leg to Pardeep Narwal.

0-0: Jaipur's skipper Deepak Hooda is sent in to raid to start the proceedings. He starts with an empty raid.

LET THE PANGA BEGIN!

TOSS- Patna Pirates won the toss and Jaipur Pink Panthers will raid first
