Bengaluru Bulls will try to make good of a less than ideal situation, when the franchise kicks off its ‘home’ leg of the ProKabaddi League here on Friday. The unavailability of the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru has forced the side to move the fixtures to Mankapur Indoor Stadium.

The team management and the players are confident that they can meet
the challenge.

“Everything in the venue is in order. The ground crew have worked hard over the last few days to get things ready,” team owner Uday Sinh Wala said on Thursday.

Uday added that while initiatives have been taken to get the people of Nagpur along for the ride, the roots of the franchise have not been forgotten. “We have put up a lot of Kannada signboards in the stadium. We hope that the television crew broadcasts it, so that the people of Bengaluru feel involved,” he said.

Skipper Rohit Kumar said, "Though we are disappointed about not being able to perform in front of our supporters in Bengaluru, we look forward to winning hearts in Nagpur - our home away from home this season.”

The outfit will feature in six encounters in this seven-day Nagpur-leg. The first test comes on Friday, from debutant Tamil Thalaivas.
