Bengaluru Bulls and Patna Pirates played out a tie, 29-29, in zone-B of the ProKabaddi league here on Wednesday.
Both teams were resolute with none emerging the better until less than three minutes left in the first half. It was 14-14 then.
Bulls, then, managed to edge ahead, 18-16, by half-time.
It was a cue for the crowd to get to its wildest whenever Bulls' Rohit Kumar raided. He had set a league record, scoring 32 points - the most by a raider in a ProKabaddi match - versus U.P. Yoddha on Tuesday.
The Bulls was still only slightly ahead even after eight minutes in the second half. It was up 24-21, no assuring lead.
From there, the Pirates closed in, 24-25, held on, 27-28, and even briefly led 29-28 with a minute to go, when a successful raid and an empty raid for the Bulls and the Pirates made it a tie.
The result: Zone-B: Bengaluru Bulls 29 tied with Patna Pirates 29
