Scores in order of CHE-MUM

24-29 FULL-TIME: Another victory for the Season 2 champion U Mumba. Meanwhile, Tamil Thalaivas have stayed winless home as the home leg disaster continues. U Mumba Ronnie Screwvala is up on his feet as well.

24-28 Athul MS fails to get a point in the Do or Die. He has been sent out. He, however, is enraged with him being sent off. He claimed he had tagged the right corner.

23-27 The crowd is up on its feet as V. Ajith Kumar comes back with a point again. It is Surinder, who is the victim this time.

21-25 Again it is U Mumba's left cover, which has been the side's problem throughout the season, which causes its undoing. Harendra Kumar out!

20-25 With Rahul Chaudhari on the bench, Ajay Thakur hasn't raided for the last eight minutes. How many times have we seen that happen?

20-24 Ponparthiban, with a flick of the knee, gets rid of Sandeep Narwal's hold.

19-23 Mohit Chhillar pulls off a deadly ankle-hold on Athul MS. And with that he registers his 100th 'Do or Die' Tackle Point.

18-23 Fazel comes up with a well-timed dash to shove Ajith Kumar out of the lobbies. OUT!

18-22 That is one strange error. The raider Abhishek Singh has timed himself out.

15-22 Ajay Thakur has been surrounded and Fazel Atrachali settles the point in Mumba's favour with a deadly block.

15-21 Athul MS getting better and better with every game. Gets a running hand touch on the right corner.

15-20 Sultan Atrachali has a huge appetite and he thus gets Rahul Chaudhari. Please do not tell me Thalaivas are going to bottle this, again!

15-19 ALL OUT! What a huge raid that is! For some moments I thought Mohit Chhillar had Athul MS for good, but Athul twists and turns to break free. V. Ajith Kumar could do nothing about it!

14-13 A strategic brilliance! Ajay Thakur uses his tactical brilliance to lure Surinder into the lobbies. A point each.

13-12 Sandeep Narwal be the man! First he gets a running hand touch on Sagar. But he stays within the other end of the mat. As a few Tamil Thalaivas players discuss the point he rushes in again to take right corner Vineet Sharma.

SECOND HALF

As we all sit and wait for the action to resume, let us treat ourselves to some good music featuring ??????

12-10 HALF-TIME: So the gap is down to two points now after Mohit Chhillar has been taken out by Abhishek Singh. Will we see the Tamil Thalaivas bag a win in its last match at home?

Rahul Chaudhari has got five raid points in his kitty today, ably supported by skipper Ajay Thakur, who contributed further three points.

12-9 SUPER TACKLE! The young Harendra Kumar hasn't had a good season thus far but this tackle on Rahul Chaudhari might boost his confidence.

12-7 Abhishek Singh gets a bonus point for U Mumba in a 'Do or Die' raid. But that point does not brimg back anyone. On the verge of an 'All Out'? What do you think?

11-6 V. Ajith Kumar gets a running hand touch on right corner Surinder. The local lad at it again! The crowd loves the show. Tamil Thalaivas on the mat now, in full strength.

9-6 Mohit Chhillar lights the fireworks and Ran Singh joins the party. Athul MS has been sent off!

6-5 Ajay Thakur coming into form now. He splits open the defence to get an easy point from Sandeep Narwal. It was almost as if he made way for Ajay to escape the defenders.

5-5 Abhishek Singh has been impressive this season and once again he has come back with a point. Vineet Sharma is out. What's more important is that he has traded blows with Thalaivas for the fact; the next 'Do or Die' raid would be that of Tamil Thalaivas'.

4-3 Athul M.S delivers on a do-or-die raid as he gets a running-hand touch on Vineeth Sharma while local boy Ajith Kumar is grappled by Fazel Atrachali on the host's do-or-die raid.

4-1 Arjun Deshwal gets U Mumba its first point of the match with a kick touch on Ran Singh on the left flank. But Rahul Chaudhari snaps up two Mumbai players on his next raid.

2-0 Tamil Thalaivas' defence traps Abhishek Singh on the first raid of the match while Rahul Chaudhari takes out Surinder Singh on his first raid of the match.

Scores in order of GUJ-PAT

29-26 FULL TIME: Rohit Gulia gets to his 'Super 10' with that raid after Mohammad Esmaeil Maghsoudlou gets caught napping. How could they possibly allow that?

Gujarat Fortunegiants end their six-match losing streak.

28-26 Maghsoudlou gets a quick point from the left corner. What a thriller!

28-24 Gujarat Fortunegiants have destroyed Narwal. Is that the point? Does that settle things with a little more than a minute to go?

27-24 Rohit Gulia killing the clock. Less than two minutes to go and Gujarat would obviously not want to take undue risks.

27-24 Gujarat are playing deep, as was instructed to them by coach Manpreet. With the bonus inactive, that should work.

25-24 Gujarat coach Manpreet is ecstatic. It is never easy to raid with four defenders on the mat. And wait, what is this? Ruturaj Koravi loses his balance to go out of bounds but Gujarat takes a point as well thanks to a well-timed tackle on Ashish.

24-22 Pankaj gets rid of Pardeep Narwal with a super ankle hold as Narwal goes to warm the bench again with nine points. 11 minutes, ladies and gents, Pardeep has been on the bench for 11 minutes!

22-22 'Do or Die': And More comes back with a bonus point in the blink of an eye. Easy as it gets!

21-20 'Do or Die' without a bonus and now Gujarat has got Maghsoudlou! He, somehow, has taken one for the team, keeping Narwal on the mat.

21-17 WOAH!!! SO CLOSE!!! Ashish, Pune's pawn almost brings back the king on the board. He gets to the midline and just touches it. Inches away from the other side!

20-17 Excellent! G. B. More outwits, outshines and outruns the Pirates... ALL AT ONCE! He makes absolute good use of his pace to evade the right corner.

#StatAttack: Ruturaj Shivaji Koravi registers 50 Tackle Points in PKL.

16-17 ALL OUT! You have got so much experience under your belt Hadi Oshtorak and you cannot afford to commit such errors. Pankaj gets the better of him as Oshtorak kept concentrating on Sunil.

13-15 Ruturaj Koravi and Co. are sniffing an 'All Out' here. Are Patna Pirates losing track, YET AGAIN?

SECOND HALF

11-15 HALF-TIME: Pardeep Narwal walks off for the second time today. And slowly and gradually, Gujarat continues to claw back into the contest.

But the story of this half belongs to the talismanic Narwal. Are we headed towards another 'Super 10'?

10-15 Pardeep already has seven points and he walks in again. Tries to go in for a bonus and then a toe touch on the right corner. Something Anup Kumar might have asked him to go for? Empty raid!

8-15 BONUS! Surprisingly three of Gujarat's eight points have come in the form of bonuses. Patna, on the other hand, has no bonus point in its kitty. 'What is Gujarat scared of?', one might ask.

8-14 Maghsoudlou comes in for the 'Do or Die' raid and G. B. More, what in god's name were you doing?

The good thing is, Narwal is back on the mat. It keeps getting from bad to worse for Fortunegiants.

7-13 Pardeep Narwal is on the bench. Question is, who will revive him? That has always been the question, hasn't it?

Maghsoudlou gets a point, sending Koravi back yet again, and Patna is now one successful raid away from getting Narwal back on the mat.

5-12 Oh my! Eight unsuccessful tackles for Gujarat Fortunegiants within the first 11 minutes. That doesn't look good... at all!

3-10 Pardeep Narwal hasn't been tackled once yet and in no time has the first 'All Out' has been inflicted via a 'Super Raid'. Ruturaj Koravi has been dragged to the midline. TOTAL ANNIHILATION!

3-7 Jaideep, best defender of the Patna Pirates comes up with a superb ankle hold to get rid of Sonu.

2-5 Three points! Super Raid! I cannot remember the last time I wrote that for Patna Pirates. The Dubki King has arrived. Sunil and Parvez Bhainswal, one of the best cover combination, have been played and how! Narwal ducks and makes it to the other end comfortably.

2-1 G.B. More has been brought back into the side. The coach has made a lot of changes in the squad today. The biggest question for Fortunegiants is who the third raider is. More takes things slow, mainly concentrating on the left corner, but fails to get a point.
