Hello and welcome to Sportstar's live blog of Sunday's Pro Kabaddi League matches at the Tau Devilal Sports Complex in Panchkula, the home of the Haryana Steelers.

This was Shivansh Gupta bringing all the live action, commentary, scores and updates to you as it unfurled on another double-header night from the third day of this leg.

Until then, this is Shivansh Gupta bidding you all good night. CIAO!

That's all we have for you today. Thank you so much for joining us. Tuesdays is no Kabaddi day so we will see you again on Wednesday for two exciting encounters.

WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT, U MUMBA CLIMBS TO THE FOURTH POSITION IN THE TABLE.

35-28: CAN SANDEEP NARWAL AVOID AN ALL-OUT FOR THE THIRD SUCCESSIVE TIME? HE TAKES HIS TIME, GOES LEFT AND RIGHT AND THEN HE GOES OVER ONLY TO COME DOWN! YES, HE CAN! AND he runs the clock down as just 14 seconds remain on the clock. HE ALSO GETS A BONUS. THALAIAVAS CHALLENGE THE CALL, claiming the raider is out. REVIEW IS UNSUCCESSFUL AS RAN SINGH STEPPED OUT OF BOUNDS BEFORE ANYTHING!

35-28: V. Ajith Kumar reduces U Mumba to one man again as he takes care of the left corner in the form of Rohit Baliyan.

35-28: CAN SANDEEP SAVE MUMBA AGAIN? AND HE DOES IT YET AGAIN! THIS IS BRILLIANT!!! ABISHEK WITH A RECKLESS DASH.

TEAM NEWS:

SQUADS:

BENGAL WARRIORS: Sukesh Hegde, Mayur Shivtarkar, Jeeva Kumar, Baldev Singh, Rinku Narwal, Mohammad Nabibakhsh, Maninder Singh

Subs: Amit, Viraj Vishnu Langde, Adarsh T, Rakesh Narwal, Ravindra Kumawat

Dabang Delhi: Naveen Kumar, Ravinder Pahal, Vishal Mane, Chandran Ranjit, Joginder Narwal, Anil Kumar, Vijay

Subs: Sumit, Sombir, Balram, Aman Kadian, Meraj Sheykh

So, how do the teams featuring in the first match shape up?

Dabang Delhi doesn't seem to set a foot wrong. It has been unbeaten since August 1, that means none of the 11 teams have been able to get past the Dabang men on the mat. It's simply astonishing. Naveen Kumar, Delhi's wonder boy, has been smashing records left, right and centre. He registered his 17th consecutive 'super-10' and 18th of the season. The second closest to this feat was Pardeep Narwal, when he stitched up a run of eight successive 'Super-10s'. Delhi is currently sitting pretty at the top of the table and with yesterday's win, it sealed its maiden Pro Kabaddi League semifinal berth.

As far as the players are concerned, there is no dearth of talent. Naveen heads the raiding department and Delhi's secondary raider Chandran Ranjit plays the role of secondary raider brilliantly. Then there is Vijay, who is slowly rising up the ranks and provides his team with a decent third raider. Joginder Narwal and Ravinder Pahal form the defensive pillars of this team and Anil Kumar has shown glimpses of what he is capable of.

Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, is no less. The team is currently placed second and after qualifying for the playoffs, the team would look to seal a top-two finish and head directly into the semifinals like Dabang Delhi.  Skippper Maninder Singh is one of the top raiders this season and he spearheads the raiding department. He has the veteran Sukesh Hegde playing second fiddle to him and he delivers more often than not. The all-rounder in Mohammad Nabibakhsh comes in handy as a third raiding option for the Warriors and there is no denying his defensive ability.

Talking about defence, Rinku Narwal has really picked up his game in the second half of the season. The team and coach placed their faith despite his poor run and he has started to deliver. Baldev Singh and Jeeva Kumar complete the defensive wall of this strong side.
