TEAM NEWS:
So, how do the teams featuring in the first match shape up?
Dabang Delhi doesn't seem to set a foot wrong. It has been unbeaten since August 1 , that means none of the 11 teams have been able to get past the Dabang men on the mat. It's simply astonishing. Naveen Kumar, Delhi's wonder boy, has been smashing records left, right and centre. He registered his 17th consecutive 'super-10' and 18th of the season. The second closest to this feat was Pardeep Narwal, when he stitched up a run of eight successive 'Super-10s'. Delhi is currently sitting pretty at the top of the table and with yesterday's win, it sealed its maiden Pro Kabaddi League semifinal berth.
As far as the players are concerned, there is no dearth of talent. Naveen heads the raiding department and Delhi's secondary raider Chandran Ranjit plays the role of secondary raider brilliantly. Then there is Vijay, who is slowly rising up the ranks and provides his team with a decent third raider. Joginder Narwal and Ravinder Pahal form the defensive pillars of this team and Anil Kumar has shown glimpses of what he is capable of.
Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, is no less. The team is currently placed second and after qualifying for the playoffs, the team would look to seal a top-two finish and head directly into the semifinals like Dabang Delhi. Skippper Maninder Singh is one of the top raiders this season and he spearheads the raiding department. He has the veteran Sukesh Hegde playing second fiddle to him and he delivers more often than not. The all-rounder in Mohammad Nabibakhsh comes in handy as a third raiding option for the Warriors and there is no denying his defensive ability.
Talking about defence, Rinku Narwal has really picked up his game in the second half of the season. The team and coach placed their faith despite his poor run and he has started to deliver. Baldev Singh and Jeeva Kumar complete the defensive wall of this strong side.

WATCH: Last week I mentioned that we have two exciting names that will feature next on our #KingsofKabaddi series. Here's Sportstar completing its 1/2 promise. WE CAUGHT HOLD OF 'EXPRESS' NAVEEN KUMAR.
With 17 consecutive super 10s so far in the tournament, it's safe to say Naveen Kumar has been Dabang Delhi's pot of gold.
The 19-year-old is one of the youngest players in the league but has overtaken veterans to carve a niche for himself in the extremely competitive environments of the Pro Kabaddi League. We got a glimpse of Naveen's lighter side, his love for his mother's cooking and all the mischief he has been upto in the Dabang Delhi camp.
