Hello and welcome to the highlights of Wednesday's Pro Kabaddi League 2019 match between Puneri Paltan and Bengaluru Bulls. This game was followed by Tamil Thalaivas' third fixture in Chennai against Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Scores in the order of CHE-JAI

26-28 FULL TIME: The PKL record remains intact as Tamil Thalaivas fails to beat Jaipur Pink Panthers yet again. Ajith Kumar did manage to get a point within two seconds but that wouldn't hurt as Panthers retain their top spot on the table with 36 points.

25-28 When it mattered the most Sandeep Dhull pounces to push Rahul Chaudhari out of the lobbies.

25-27 How costly is that error from Ran Singh? He steps out into the lobbies along with Deepak Narwal. Both sides pocket a point each.

24-26 TWO POINTS AND TWO MINUTES! What is going to happen?

22-26 Ajay Thakur gets a green card as his emotions get the better of him after a review goes against the side.

22-25 Vishal, now at right corner, gets his grip around V. Ajith Kumar's right ankle. Kumar, however, doesn't go down without a fight.

22-23 Sandeep Dhull and Amit Hooda, the two corners, haven't been at their best today. Dhull, this time, falters again, to gift a point to the talismanic Rahul Chaudhari.

20-22 Nilesh Salunkhe has been picking up bonuses at will today. This is the 10th bonus point for the Jaipur Pink Pathers and that must be hurting the Thalaivas.

18-20 V. Ajith Kumar steals a point from Vishal at left corner who attempts a clumsy tackle.

17-17 ALL OUT! SCORES LEVEL! TWO TOUCH POINTS AND TWO BONUS POINTS! Rahul Chaudhari cleans the opposition up as the Chennai crowd, which was looking dejected a few minutes earlier, is up on its feet.

12-13: Woah! Woah! Woah! We have some banter on the mat, ladies and gentlemen! The Jaipur Pink Panthers coach must be regretting his pre-match "old horse" statement now. Ajay Thakur has just proved that this horse is meant to gallop the farthest. He gestures as he returns to the Thalaivas end of the mat.

11-13 FIRST HALF: It has been twenty minutes of packed action from both the sides but Jaipur Pink Panthers have the slight edge here.

Ajay Thakur, meanwhile, registers 650 raid touch points in the PKL. Here is the first episode of our #KingsofKabaddi series featuring the man himself:

9-13 Deepak Narwal gets the reverse sliding toe touch to send Chaudhari off. He went in to steal a bonus but look what he has done!

9-10 Vishal commits a blunder as Rahul Chaudhari physically walks him out. The ankle hold wasn't one of the strongest. Added to that, there was no support from his teammates.

8-10 Super Tackle on as local hero V. Ajith Kumar walks in to raid. Doesn't risk points. Empty raid.

7-8 Another milestone for Hooda! He has 400 tackles against his name now in the Pro Kabaddi League.

6-8 Super Tackle! Rahul Chaudhari has been trapped in a grapple. Vishal snaps him up first after which Sunil Siddhgavali extends his support.

5-6 Ajay Thakur gets rid of the left corner now. It is Sandeep Dhull who has to go to the bench.

2-6 Last day's hero V. Ajith Kumar has been taken down as Amit Hooda registers his 200th successful tackle in the Pro Kabaddi League.

1-2 #StatAttack: Mohit Chhillar is playing in his 100th PKL match.

1-0 And it is 767 raid points for the big man Ajay Thakur! He gets the right corner Amit Hooda with a running hand touch.

Tamil Thalaivas wins toss and choose court.

Jaipur Pink Panthers will be high on confidence when it takes on the host later today, and why not? Panthers, after all, have never lost a match against Tamil Thalaivas in the Pro Kabaddi League.

But Tamil Thalaivas wouldn't let things go easy, especially after how it managed to end the match in a tie against Puneri Paltan, thanks to a four-point haul in the dying moments of the match by V. Ajith Kumar.

Scores in the order of PUN-BLR

31-23 FULL TIME: But senses ultimately prevailed, if we talk about Puneri Paltan, and an empty raid from Amit Kumar seals the win. Since the margin is eight points, Bengaluru do not manage to get even one point from this clash.

30-21 Sadly, it is Surjeet again who has committed the blunder ! Even after repeated and clear orders from coach Anup Kumar for no more than one defender to attempt tackles, there has been multiple mistakes. Two points for Rohit Kumar.

27-18 Manjeet hasn't been tackled even once today. Even his empty raids have been highly effective, with him utilizing all of the 30 seconds each time, taking the pace away from the game in turn.

25-16 With Rohit Kumar and Pawan Sehrawat not being able to perform, the rest of the Bengaluru unit has looked extremely bleak. So bleak that, Puneri Paltan did not even use their primary weapon Pankaj Mohite.

24-15 That's Surjeet's experience for you. Pawan Sehrawat attempts the infamous dubki but that doesn't help. Surjeet's grasp on him is too strong, and that holds him back long enough for fresh reinforcements to arrive.

21-13 Amit Sheoran with his ankle hold yet again. Enough to render most raiders invalid. NYP Amit Kumar is the victim this time.

19-11 ALL OUT! MANJEET! The tall raider is doing the talking today. Two points there followed by another, courtesy Jadhav Shahaji. Shahaji almost flings Banty out into the lobbies.

An upset on the cards?

12-10 Puneri Paltan has conceded the least number of bonus points this season and why not? Amit Kumar's ankle hold at the left corner is vicious, and Rohit Kumar just got a taste of that. Kumar was hesitating the last time around but this time he thought he had things under control. Unlucky!

11-10 Nitin Tomar has been substituted for Amit Kumar but still there is no sign of Pankaj Mohite. Empty raid.

SECOND HALF

While we all wait for the second half to begin, take a look at the promo of the next episode of #KingsofKabaddi:

10-10 HALF-TIME: Surjeet gifts a point to Sehrawat again. Looked to make a statement there, but that was one strange effort. He goes out to tackle the "high-flyer" already when he was far out near the midline.

It has been one impressive half, this! Puneri Paltan has been on song today and the six tackle points they have scored speaks volumes about it. They have also managed to keep Pawan off the mat for 8 minutes and 41 seconds!

9-9 Shubham Shinde takes his own sweet time, but completes an effective tackle on Sumit Singh. Singh hardly had any choice other than to give in.

9-8 Amit Kumar, primarily a raider, has been exceptional in the defence as well today. The Pawan Sehrawat decimation says a lot.

8-8 Amit Sheoran at it again! The ankle hold was enough to dampen Tomar's efforts. That stops him for some seconds and that was all that was needed for the other defenders to chime in.

7-6 #StatAttack: And there it is! Pawan Kumar Sehrawat reaches 100 raid points, or rather, Pune almost gifts the 100th point to him. Almost jogged his way to the milestone!

5-4
Sumit puts the scorpion kick to good use in the Do or Die raid to graze Amit Kumar's left knee. The bigger news, therefore, is that Pawan Sehrawat is back on the mat.

5-3 That's a big fish in the net! Manjeet has got rid of Amit Sheoran, Bulls' star defender. Bengaluru, surprisingly, did not put up much of an effort to nab him there.

2-2 Nitin Tomar was so close to pocketing a point but the left corner has managed to floor him. Hasn't been the same Tomar from the previous seasons, has he?

1-1 First point for Puneri as Hadi Tajik pulls off a phenomenal tackle. Catches the Bengaluru Bulls skipper Rohit Kumar blind-sided.

0-0 As expected, Nitin Tomar will start proceedings for Puneri Paltan. But he doesn't try to go for a point. Puneri Paltan trying to take things easy.
