After a spectacular display in the first match against Patna Pirates, faults are beginning to show in the Thalaivas defense.

In the second South Indian derby in two days, Tamil Thalaivas will hope things don't go south for the third successive time this season when it faces Bengaluru Bulls here on Wednesday.

After a spectacular display in the first match against Patna Pirates, faults are beginning to show in the Thalaivas defense. “There are some problems with getting the co-ordination right and under pressure we tend to make mistakes. But it's just the beginning, we have time to rectify these mistakes and come back stronger,” said Tamil Thalaivas coach E. Bhaskaran after his team's defeat to Telugu Titans on Tuesday.

If Rahul Chaudhari was the threat in Tuesday's match, Rohit Kumar of Bengaluru Bulls also poses an equal threat. An equally potent raider in just three seasons, he finds himself in the top 10 raid point scorers list. He had a brilliant season five, scoring 219 raid points, second only to Pardeep Narwal. And supporting Rohit in attack will be Kashiling Adake, who was 494 raid points overall in five PKL seasons.

Other than Manendar Singh, Bengaluru do not have any big names in defense and that's where Thalaivas could target. Ajay Thakur and MS Athul have been good while raiding in both defeats and they are threats Bengaluru will closely keep an eye on.

U Mumba vs Jaipur Pink Panthers

For the first time, Anup Kumar will be wearing a different colour in a Pro Kabaddi season. And on his Jaipur Pink Panthers debut, he faces U Mumba - the team he captained for five seasons of PKL.

All-rounder Deepak Hooda, who has been used more as a raider recently, had an excellent season five and might be Jaipur's main raider. Captain Anup Kumar and Nitin Rawal or Selvamani are other proven raiders in a team, which boasts of its raiding depth.

U Mumba raided well in tied match against Puneri Paltan, especially Siddharth Desai who scored 14 points but just missed out on the crucial final point. He could be up against as fine a defense as the Paltan's with Mohit Chillar in the Jaipur side.

The Fazel Atrachali-led Mumbai side felt hard done-by with the tie against Puneri Paltan. A tight defense otherwise, would work well for them in the final moments of its upcoming clashes.
