CELTIC's new recruit Jeremie Aliadiere said his move to the Scottish giants could make his World Cup dream come true. The 22-year-old striker has joined Gordon Strachan's new club on a one-year loan deal from Arsenal to gain the experience boss Arsene Wenger believes he needs to make him a fixture in future Gunners sides.

The Frenchman is desperate to hit the goal trail next season to see him become a major star at Arsenal but he also has another big incentive after battling back from injury. He wants to join up again with Thierry Henry next summer — but this time on the plane to Germany for the World Cup. "That is a target," revealed Aliadiere. "France have got problems and that's one of the reasons I came here. The World Cup is only next summer and I know that if I do well with Celtic then it will be a possibility to go there."
