Prajisha in action against Railways in the final.-

The spearhead of the Kerala women in attack this year was M. K. Prajisha. Taking over the role of Gisha Thomas, Prajisha stole the show at Pune with her brilliant jump and spike. Though not tall, she still had the power to rattle the rivals with her thundering smashes. Prajisha hails from Badagara, a place in Kerala where volleyball is very popular and where even a small event can draw a huge crowd. She also happens to be the current All-India Inter-university javelin record holder and a highly talented athlete. She plans to combine athletics and volleyball in the years to come.
