Ferrari declared "boredom the winner" at the Singapore Grand Prix after Lewis Hamilton won on a frustrating outing for the Scuderia.

The Italian giant had to settle for third and fifth for Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen respectively, with the former hampered by an ill-judged early pit stop in his bid to close the gap on championship leader Hamilton.

With the exception of a couple of collisions for Sergio Perez - one with team-mate Esteban Ocon and another with Sergey Sirotkin - the race was otherwise free of major incident.

And Ferrari struggled to hide its frustrations at the result and the quality of the racing when it published its race report.

"Boredom the winner in Singapore," read the headline, before the report itself claimed: "The Singapore race ran true to form, in that in the Monaco of the East, anything can happen, but usually nothing does."
