Taekwando

Sixty-four athletes per gender can qualify for the Games, with only a maximum of eight each per NOC.

Qualification process: Quota places will be allocated in the following process

• An NOC can qualify a maximum of one athlete per weight division through the World Taekwando (WT) Olympic ranking or Grand Slam Champions series. (48 quota places available)
   
• A total of 72 athletes will be qualified for the Games through the five continental qualification tournaments. Only the NOCs with less than two athletes per gender through the WT Olympic ranking or Grand Slam Champions series can participate in the continental qualification.
