Lamont Marcell Jacobs of Team Italy celebrates after winning the Men's 100m Final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Sunday.

Lamont Marcell Jacobs ran an exceptional race as he took the gold in the 100 meters men's final at the Tokyo Olympics on Sunday. Clocking 9.80 seconds, he beat American Fred Kerley who took silver in 9.84 seconds, while Canada's Andre de Grasse settled with a bronze in 9.89 seconds.

Israel's Artem Dolgopyat won his country's first gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in the men's individual floor exercise event. He posted the same score as Spain's Rayderley Zapata, but won the contest on account of his routine having a higher degree of difficulty.
