Some eminent personalities fade away

In this list there are eight sportspersons, each a path-breaker in his/her own right.

With each passing year, a number of celebrated sports personalities bid farewell to their respective games. The year 2015 was no different as the world bid goodbye to some distinguished sport stars, some after reaching the epitome of their careers and some wanting to retire early to the comforts of their own living rooms.

Here are the notable retirements of 2015.
