India reached the finals of both the men’s and women’s handball with dominant performances. Devinder Singh scored 12 goals to help Indian men’s team prevail over Nepal. India led 28-15 in the half time to make it an easy win and reach the final, where it will meet traditional rival Pakistan.

India reached the finals of both the men’s and women’s handball with dominant performances. Devinder Singh scored 12 goals to help Indian men’s team prevail over Nepal. India led 28-15 in the half time to make it an easy win and reach the final, where it will meet traditional rival Pakistan. In the women’s section India, which beat Pakistan 44-23, will take on Bangladesh in the gold medal clash.

In mixed triathlon India picked the gold with its team of Pallawi Retiwala, Dilip Kumar, Sorohni Devil and Dhiraj Sawant making a winning finish. Nepal won the silver while Sri Lanka took the bronze.

The results:

Handball: Men’s: India 51 bt Nepal 23; Pakistan 34 bt Bangladesh 19.

Women’s: India 44 bt Pakistan 23; Bangladesh 33 bt Nepal 28.
