Three Indians to participate in World 6-Red Snooker

The World 6-Red Snooker Championship, scheduled to be held in Bangkok from September 5 to 10, will have three Indians in Pankaj Advani, Sourav Kothari and Ishpreet Singh Chadha participating.

Pankaj Advani won the gold medal at the World 6-Red Snooker Championship held in Karachi last year.

Pankaj Advani, Sourav Kothari and Ishpreet Singh Chadha will represent India in the World 6-Red Snooker Championship, to be held at Bangkok, Thailand from September 5 to 10.

Chadha has been placed in Group A, Advani in Group C and Kothari in Group F in the preliminary stage of the tournament, in which 48 cueists from 16 countries would take part.

Advani is to open his group campaign against China’s Ding Junhui on September 5, Kothari will face Michael White of Wales, while Chadha will take on Mark Davis of England in their respective first group matches.

The group stage concludes on September 7.
