Kothari storms into the finals of World Billiards Championship

Sourav Kothari wrapped up four games on the trot with complete command to defeat Siddharth Parikh 7-5.

This is the first time that India's Sourav Kothari has reached the finals of the World Billiards, organised by the World Billiards Limited.

Sourav Kothari of India wrapped up four games on the trot with complete command to defeat his fellow countryman Siddharth Parikh 7-5, entering the finals of the LiteTask World Billiards Championship, at the Northern Snooker Center.

In the other semifinal played between two former world champions, Dave Causier of England defeated Rupesh Shah of India by 74.

This is the first time that Kothari reached the finals of the World Billiards, organised by the World Billiards Limited.

He had earlier, reached the finals of the long-up format of the IBSF World Billiards Championship last year held in Bangalore but lost to Peter Gilchrist of Singapore in the finals.
