International Junior Shotgun Cup: India clinches mixed team trap silver

After qualifying for the final in the second place with 93 out of 100, Vivaan and Kapoor were beaten 45-39 for the gold by the Italian team of Lorenzo Ferrari and Sofia Littame.

Vivaan Kapoor and Manisha Keer clinched the mixed trap silver behind Italy in the 11th International Junior Shotgun Cup in Orimattila, Finland, on Sunday.

After qualifying for the final in the second place with 93 out of 100, Vivaan and Kapoor were beaten 45-39 for the gold by the Italian team of Lorenzo Ferrari and Sofia Littame.

Vishwa Kundu and Kirti Gupta also made the final, but finished fourth.

In mixed team skeet, Areeba Khan and Abhay Singh Sekhon made the final but finished sixth. Ayush Rudraraju (with Muffaddal Zahra Deesawala) and Gurnihal Singh Garcha (with Parinaaz Dhaliwal) who had won the individual gold and silver respectively, placed seventh and 11th.
