The return of former World Champion and six-time Asian champion Manavjit Singh Sandhu has strengthened the Indian team for the Shotgun World Cup to be staged in Lahti, Finland, from August 14 to 22.
Olympian Kynan Chenai and Prithviraj Tondaiman have been shooting well in the World Cups. Kynan, in particular, has been missing the finals despite shooting high scores.
The men’s skeet team will also be strengthened by the return of the Asian champion Angad Vir Singh Bajwa. He had missed the World Cups owing to illness and the World University Games.
