"We missed the official training, but luckily, we will get to shoot two rounds today to understand the range. We are actually lucky to shoot in the competition. We had lost hope when we were searching for the guns and then, waiting for the permit. First three days, we were just going to the airport before we got to know that the guns were in the cargo in Houston. On the fourth day, we went to Houston to collect the guns. We have taken seven flights, including missed connections and the additional flights to Houston, in the last four days. We will do our best. All of us had trained well in Italy before coming here,’’ said Sheeraz, quite positive that the struggle would tune him better to face the challenges ahead.

The World Cup will start with women’s skeet and the men will follow on the second day of competition. The Indian trap shooters, just about, reached as they will have their competition later.
