Youth Olympics silver medallist Shahu Tushar Mane led a clean sweep of the junior men’s air rifle medals for India in the International Shooting Competition of Hannover, Germany.
After qualifying with a modest score of 623.2, Tushar won the gold with an impressive total of 251.4. Rudrankksh Patil who lost the gold by 2.8 points, pipped the world junior champion Hriday Hazarika by 0.6 point for the silver.

In men’s air rifle, however, the experienced Ravi Kumar and Deepak Kumar had to settle for the fifth and seventh spots respectively.
Tejas Krishna Prasad who qualified in the third place with 627.9 ended eighth eventually.
In the 25-metre sports pistol, Annu Raj Singh won the women’s bronze, while Abhidnya Patil won the junior women’s silver, after having qualified on top with 576.
