Shotgun World Cup: Kynan Chenai misses final by two points

Kynan was undone by a below par third round in a series of 23, 24, 22, 24 and 25, as he settled for the 16th place in the men’s trap in a field of 127 shooters.

Olympian Kynan Chenai shot 118 and missed the men’s trap final by two points in the shotgun World Cup in Larnaka, Cyprus, on Saturday.

Kynan was undone by a below par third round in a series of 23, 24, 22, 24 and 25, as he settled for the 16th place in a field of 127 shooters. He had shot 113 in the World Cup at home in Delhi and 120 in the last World Cup in Acapulco, Mexico, earlier this season.

Two other Indians in the fray, Prithviraj Tondaiman and Zoravar Singh Sandhu shot 114 and 113 respectively and were placed 54th and 63rd.
