Joshan lost to the third seed Nour El Tayeb of Egypt. The Indian went down 11-6, 11-4, 10-12, 11-8 in the third round as the Egyptian stormed into the quarterfinals.

India's Joshna Chinappa, the last Indian in the fray in the Hong Kong Open, a PSA world tour platinum event, also bowed out of the event here on Thursday.

Joshan lost to the third seed Nour El Tayeb of Egypt. The Indian went down 11-6, 11-4, 10-12, 11-8 in the third round as the Egyptian stormed into the quarterfinals.

Incidentally, Tayeb had beaten Joshna last month in a US tournament.
