India has bagged two silver and six bronze medals at the Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship in Amman, with an Indian - Tushar Shahani - still in the fray for a silver or a gold. The tournament ends on Saturday.
Neel Joshi (U-15) and Yuvraj Wadhwani (U-13) were runners-up in their respective sections to collect a silver medal each. India’s girls won all the bronze, losing in the semifinals.
On Friday, Neel and Yuvraj made it to the title round. Neel was impressive in his straight game win over Iran’s Danial Gharooni. Among the girls, Sunayna Kuruvilla (U-19) and Yoshna Singh impressed.
