Joshna Chinappa rises to 10th in rankings

In the latest squash rankings released by the Professional Squash Association, Josh Chinappa has climbed up two spots to move to 10th in the rankings, while Dipika Pallikal remains steady at 19.

Indian squash player Joshna Chinappa rose to 10th while Deepika Pallikal remained static at 19th in the latest Professional Squash Association (PSA) rankings. Chinappa, who had slipped to 12th after initially breaking into top 10 in July, has regained the position even as Pallikal held on to her 19th position.

In the men’s rankings, Saurav Ghosal dropped to 21st from his previous perch of 17th. Mahesh Mangaonkar gained a position to be on 60th, while Vikram Malhotra remained 73rd.

Harinder Pal Sandhu improved to 79th. In the women’s section, Sachika Ingale slipped to 84.

Chinappa and Ghosal had bowed out in the quarterfinal stage at the USD 100,000 China Open, a PSA World Tour event.
