Ramit Tandon bagged his third PSA career title after winning the Abu Dhabi Open squash here on Saturday.
The third seed Indian defeated the more experienced and top seed Omar Abdel Meguid of Egypt 11-6, 6-11, 11-3, 11-2 in an exciting one-hour match to lift the world tour event title.
Steady has been Ramit's watchword in this tournament and the youngster played true to his potential. Beating an opponent who is 20 rungs above him in PSA rankings is not an easy task but Ramit lifted his game and made his opponent work hard in their first meeting on the professional circuit.
