Saurav Ghosal crashed out of the Black Squash Open, a PSA World tour platinum event, after going down to Egypt’s Ali Farag 11-6, 11-9, 11-3 in the quarterfinals in Cairo.

After the remarkable win over Egypt’s Omar Masad in the earlier round, there was promise of much more to come from the Indian. But Farag, the world No.2 was a difficult proposition. The Egyptian gave no room for Saurav to settle down.
