India's Saurav Ghosal fell to third seed Tarek Momen of Egypt in the pre-quarterfinal round of the El Gouna International Squash Open, a PSA platinum event here late on Sunday. The Egyptian won 11-8, 11-7, 13-11.
Matches between these two often goes the distance or be close. The start was no different this time with points going neck and neck before the world number three Momen drew away in the first game.
Saurav, who was troubled by a back strain and had to undergo on-court treatment, lost the second. The Indian came back strongly in the third where he got to game point, but Momen recovered well to force the issue in his favour over the tie-break.
