Kohli visits Golden Temple, Wagah border

The Golden Temple has been visited by several high-profile cricketers in the past, including Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh.

Virat Kohli was accompanied by his mother and sister to the Golden Temple.

Indian Test captain Virat Kohli visited the Golden Temple with his family ahead of the upcoming World T20.

Kohli was accompanied by his mother and sister during Friday’s trip, which also included a visit to the Wagah border.

“I felt really good here. I had been planning to visit the Golden Temple for a long time. I felt really good and peaceful here,” Kohli told reporters here.

Kohli was rested for the recent three-match Twenty20 series at home against Sri Lanka but is due to return to the India team ahead of the Asia Cup T20 competition which begins in Bangladesh on February 24.
