Malavika Vishwanath and Maana Patel were ranked at 86th and 97th respectively after the heats in the women's 100m freestyle. While Malavika's timing was 00:59.40, Maana finished with 01:00.31.

Malavika Vishwanath was ranked 30th with a timing of 9:12:08 in the women's 800m freestyle.

In Men's 100m Butterfly, Sajan Prakash finished 34th with a timing of 00:52.93.

On the third day, Maana will be the only Indian to take the pool. She will participate in the Women's 200m Backstroke.
