Sara Yadav, Rishabh Sharda triumph in AITA Chandigarh

Sara Yadav won both the singles and doubles titles with ease, dropping ten games in all in four sets in the Rs.100,000 AITA ranking tennis tournament at the CLTA Complex on Friday.

Sarah beat third seed Kaavya Sawhney 6-3, 6-2 for the singles title. She won the doubles title in partnership with Prinkle Singh, beating second seeds Kaavya Sawhney and Sharanya Shetty.

In the men’s final, Rishabh Sharda who had to endure the qualifying event, beat the top seed Paramveer Singh Bajwa 6-4, 6-2.
