Ankita Raina wins doubles title in Turkey

The Indian, partnering Gabriela Ce of Brazil, defeated fourth seeds Elitsa Kostova of Bulgaria and Yana Sizikova of Russia in the ITF women’s final.

Ankita Raina in partnership with Gabriela Ce of Brazil won the doubles title in the USD 60,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament in Turkey on Saturday.

The Indian-Brazilian pair outplayed fourth seeds Elitsa Kostova of Bulgaria and Yana Sizikova of Russia 6-2, 6-3 in the final. It was the second doubles title from three finals over the last three weeks for Ankita, who had lost the singles quarterfinals.
