Rohan Bopanna, in partnership with Ivan Dodig of Croatia, stormed into the final of Rogers Cup with a 4-6, 7-6(8), 11-9 win over sixth seeds Raven Klaasen of South Africa and Rajeev Ram of the U.S.
It took the Indo-Croatian pair one hour and 42 minutes to book its place in the final of the ATP 1000 event.
They had powered past Gael Monfils and Benoit Paire of France 6-2, 7-5 in the quarterfinals.
Ankita Raina in partnership with Bibiane Schoofs of the Netherlands won the doubles title in the $25,000 ITF women’s event in Belgium.
The Indo-Dutch combination saved a match point in the super tie-break to beat Marie Benoit and Megall Kempen of Belgium 11-9.
It was the third doubles title of the season for the 24-year-old Ankita, who has won eight other doubles titles and five singles titles in her career so far.
