Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France beat Ken Skupski of Britain and Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece 2-6, 6-3, 10-6 in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the €718,810 ATP tennis tournament in France on Tuesday.

In the quarterfinals, the second seeded Indo-French pair will be challenged by James Cerretani of the US and Adil Shamasdin of Canada.

In the $50,000 Challenger in Japan, Prajnesh Gunneswaran knocked out the fourth seed Stephane Robert of France in three sets. But, Robert in partnership with Li Zhe of China upset the second seeds, Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and his Indonesian partner, Christopher Rungkat, for the loss of four games.

In the $25,000 ITF women’s event in Australia, top seed Prarthana Thombare in partnership with Tereza Mrdeza of Croatia set up a quarterfinal against Karman Kaur Thandi and her Romanian partner Jaqueline Adina Cristian.
