John Isner would be prepared to hand his trademark big serve to Kei Nishikori, providing the Japanese gives him his impressive groundstrokes in return!
Nishikori continued his recovery from a wrist injury on Saturday with a practice session against Isner, the 28-year-old later taking to Twitter to thank his ATP Tour colleague.
"Very good practice with John Isner today. Very nice of him to come hit," posted Nishikori, before adding the hashtag: "CanIHaveThatServe"?
Isner duly replied to his question, saying: "You've got a deal if you give me everything else."
Nishikori has been out of action since August, and was forced to withdraw from the Australian Open to give him more recovery time.
He made his competitive return in Newport Beach on Wednesday at a Challenger Tour event, Nishikori losing to Dennis Novikov 6-3 3-6 6-4.
"It was good, wrist was fine," he said after the defeat. "I just need more time to get used to matches.
"[I was] very rusty on the court. Very up and down still. But I think there were some positive things."
