Divij Sharan in partnership with Jackson Withrow of the US made the doubles quarterfinals of the $623,710 ATP tennis tournament in Newport, US, with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Martin Redlicki and Evan Zhu of the US.
In the $125,000 Challenger in Kazakhstan, Arjun Kadhe had a big size of luck, as he not only entered as the lucky loser in the main draw, but also got a lucky loser as the first round opponent.
Arjun led 6-2, 3-3 against Dzmitry Zhyrmont of Belarus when the latter retired.
In the ITF women’s event in Indonesia, Zeel Desai won both her singles and doubles matches.
