Novak Djokovic has reason to celebrate as he gets set for another push for the French Open, becoming the fifth player to surpass 200 weeks at world number one.

Djokovic retained his place at the summit when the latest edition of the rankings were released on Monday. 

The Serbian has now spent 99 consecutive weeks at number one and trails only Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, Pete Sampras and record-holder Roger Federer for total weeks at the top.

Djokovic can join another exclusive club with victory at Roland Garros and become only the eighth male player to achieve a career Grand Slam.

He is due to begin his French Open campaign against Lu Yen-hsun on Tuesday.
