Tim Henman says Novak Djokovic is the clear favourite to win the French Open and complete a career Grand Slam, but believes Andy Murray is capable of lifting the trophy in Paris.

World No. 1 Djokovic only needs the clay-court major to complete an Australian Open, U.S. Open, Wimbledon and French Open clean sweep.

The Serbian was beaten in last year's showpiece by Stan Wawrinka, but defeated long-time rival Murray at the Madrid Masters this month and is in good form on the dirt.

However, Murray had his nemesis' number in the final of the Internazionali d'Italia and went the distance with Djokovic in an epic semifinal at Roland Garros 12 months ago.

And Henman believes that Murray - whose last Grand Slam triumph came at Wimbledon in 2013 - has to be considered a serious contender.

"He can win and I don't think I would have said that 12 or 24 months ago," he told Sky Sports.

"I felt there were too many good clay-court players and it was dominated by [Rafael] Nadal.

"There is no doubt that Djokovic goes in as the favourite in Paris but the way Andy has played and how comfortable he is looking winning big tournaments - it is a big ask, but I definitely think he can win it."
