Rohan Bopanna in quarterfinals in Monte Carlo

Rohan Bopanna continued to strike it hot, on clay, as he, in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin, beat the seventh seeds, Jamie Murray of Britain and Bruno Soares of Brazil, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9, in the doubles pre-quarterfinals, of the ATP Masters tennis tournament, in Monte Carlo, on Thursday.

Rohan Bopanna continued to strike it hot, on clay, as he, in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin, beat the seventh seeds, Jamie Murray of Britain and Bruno Soares of Brazil, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9, in the doubles pre-quarterfinals, of the ATP Masters tennis tournament, in Monte Carlo, on Thursday. In the quarterfinals, Bopanna and his partner will play Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah of Colombia.

In the $50,000 Challenger in China, Prajnesh Gunneswaran knocked out eighth seed Alex Bolt of Australia, in straight sets, to set up a quarterfinal clash, against third seed Quentin Halys of France.

Fellow Davis Cupper Ramkumar Ramanathan also cruised into the quarterfinals and will play Aleksandr Nedovyesov of Kazakhstan.

In the ITF women’s circuit, Sai Samhitha beat Jelena Stojanovic of Australia, to make the quarterfinals, in Egypt, while Pranjala Yadlapalli subdued Vitalia Stamat, in three sets, to make the semifinals, in Kazakhstan.
