Jeevan, Divij ousted from Newport ATP event

Divij and Jackson Withrow lost 3-6 4-6 to Jonathan Erlich and Artem Sitak in their semifinal while Jeevan and Austin Krajicek lost to Marcelo Arevalo and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela.

Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in partnership with Austin Krajicek of the US missed a matchpoint and was beaten 5-7, 7-5, 13-11 in the doubles semifinals by Marcelo Arevalo and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela in the ATP Hall of Fame Open in Newport.

In the other semifinal, Divij Sharan in partnership with Jackson Withrow was beaten by Jonathan Erlich and Artem Sitak in straight sets.

In the $125,000 Challenger in Astana, Arjun Kadhe in partnership with Denis Yevseyev was beaten in a well contested doubles final by Mikhail Elgin and Yaraslav Shyla.
