Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in partnership with Austine Krajicek of the US stormed into the doubles final of the $1,183,360 ATP tennis tournament in China on Friday.

The unseeded Indo-American pair beat Guido Pella of Argentina and Joao Sousa of Portugal 7-5, 6-1 in the semifinals.

In the final, Jeevan and his partner will play the top seeds Ivan Dodig and Mate Pavic of Croatia.

Rutuja Bhosale won the doubles title with Hiroko Kuwata of Japan in the $60,000 ITF women’s event in Darwin, Australia. It was the third doubles title this season for Rutuja, who has nine doubles titles and two singles titles in the professional circuit.

In the ITF men’s Futures in Thailand, Karunuday Singh lost the singles semifinals, but won the doubles title in partnership with Francis Casey Alcantara of Philippines. It was the second doubles title of the season for the 27-year-old Karunuday, who has won seven doubles titles and three singles titles in the professional circuit.
